2024 MCBA Meetings/Clinics/Events

 
2/12/2024 – MCBA Contest Host Meeting

MCBA hosts a meeting on February 12, 2024, 8:00pm for all schools that will be hosting MCBA Sanctioned or Championshp Qualifying Contests during the fall of 2024.

 
3/3/2024 – MCBA Annual Meeting

MCBA will host its Annual General Membership meeting on March 3. 2024.  At this meeting, annual reports are presented, the 2023 season is reviewed, the 2024 budget is presented for approval, new executive board trustees are elected, and changes to MCBA rules are considered and voted upon.

 

6/1/2024 – 3rd Annual MCBA Golf Outing

3rd Annual MCBA Golf Outing for any interested directors, staff members, judges, and administrators.  To be held at the Royal Scots Golf Course in Lansing, MI.  

 
12/1/2024 – MCBA December General Membership Meeting

MCBA hosts a General Membership meeting on December 1. 2024.  At this meeting, the 2024 season is reviewed and discussions of potential changes for the 2025 season are initiated.

 
1/24/2025 – MMC Reception

MCBA will host an reception for all MCBA Directors, Adjudicators, Staff and friends on Friday evening, January 24, 2025 at 8:00pm, at the JW Marriot (during the annual Michigan Music Conference).

At its core, MCBA exists to provide the very best experiences in the marching arts.  We believe that music and arts education are fundamental for all students and we are dedicated to supporting and promoting instrumental music programs in the state of Michigan.  MCBA sanctions competitions, hosts the State Championships and conducts clinics, all with the same goal . . . to support the achievement of excellence in the marching arts!
