Unit Membership Application
To compete in MCBA Contests and participate in the State Championships a band most be a Unit Member. The application for a Unit Membership can be found here
Deadline for Submission: September 1, 2024
Agreement of Participation
To compete in any MCBA Contest a band must complete and submit their MCBA Agreement of Participation.
Deadline for Submission: MAY 1 - FOR INCLUSION IN PERFORMANCE ORDER RANDOM DRAW or SEPTEMBER 1 - FOR PARTICIPATION IN MCBA CONTESTS
MCBA Hall of Fame
Membership in the MCBA Hall of Fame shall be bestowed upon those who have displayed incredible leadership, commitment, and made a significant contribution to and for MCBA. If you wish to nominate a person for membership in the MCBA Hall of Fame you can find the form to do so here

Music Information Submission
To participate in any MCBA Contest, full documentation of copyright compliance must be submitted for any/all music that will be performed. Submissions of copyright compliance information must be done through this Tresona Formstack.
Deadline for Submission: 10 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR FIRST MCBA CONTEST or SEPTEMBER 10, 2023 (WHICH EVER OCCURS FIRST)
Permission to Arrange Form
Use this standard Permission to Arrange Form when contacting a publisher or composer regarding permissions.
3’15” Announcement Form
MCBA uses a standard announcement format to signal the start of every bands performance at MCBA Contests. Submission of information for the Official MCBA Announcement will be done through this Google Form

Publicity Submission
Submit your band’s publicity information here. Information submitted here will be used for the MCBA State Championships, it will also be made available to MCBA Contest hosts and announcers.

Ford Field Liability Waiver Packet
To be allowed to participate in the MCBA State Championships, the school’s Band Director must submit a fully executed Ford Field Liability Waiver Packet

MCBA Scholarship Application
MCBA annually awards a number of $2,000 scholarships to graduating seniors of MCBA bands. Requirements and the application for these scholarships can be found here
